I’m Christian Carrion.
I’m a game show historian, podcaster, writer, hotel manager, and aspiring game show host.
Since 2014, I’ve been the news editor of Buzzerblog, the most popular game show website in the world. I’m the author of Auld Lang Gone: The Lost Carmen Sandiego, as well as host and producer of its audio documentary adaptation.
For two years, I produced and hosted a podcast called Stranger Than Christian, in which I had unscripted conversations with complete strangers from around the world. I adopted a loose, informal style of interviewing that has resonated with thousands of listeners.
I’m now producing and hosting a podcast for the National Archives of Game Show History at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. On Tell Us About Yourself, I talk with former contestants from across the history of game shows to learn about their experiences.
I’ve been a contestant on The Price is Right, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, MTV2’s Hip Hop Squares, GSN’s The Chase, Let’s Ask America, and Match Game.
I’m one of the co-founders and hosts of the 24-Hour Game Show Marathon, a charity event that has raised over $50,000 for children’s charities.
I studied broadcast journalism at Southern Connecticut State University.
I live in Pennsylvania with my wife, Catherine, and our two cats, Fat Paulie and Kippo.
